This website is the result of a dream I’ve had for many years: how to use my love of reading to help authors and publishers produce quality content.
There is so much good writing out there that could be great writing if only someone had taken the time to do a little cleaning up.
So that’s what I am — a cleaner of words.
The thing is, when it comes to writing, as the author, you are the one who matters. Your style, your preferences, your choices are what make your work unique. It’s so important to preserve that, even when editing.

Hello! My name is Donna and I’m a nonfiction editor and proofreader. You may wonder why nonfiction. Well, I’ve learned that truth really is stranger than fiction. There are some things that you just can’t make up. So, if you have a story to tell, I would love to read it and help you polish it until it shines.
I’ve been an Administrative Manager for the past twenty-something years, where editing and proofreading business documents is just par for the course.
In case you’re curious: I do all my editing in a tiny apartment overlooking the sea on the island of Trinidad in the Caribbean, which I share with my hubby and numerous house plants.
